Rengulbai is the title of the highest chief of the state. Each chief have their female chief counterparts. Chiefs’ works with the state government regarding public lands. The 5 highest chief of each village are automatically board members of Aimeliik Public Land Authority along with other members who are appointed by the governor and the Legislature.

Characteristics

Aimeliik State is situated on the southwest corner of Babeldaob and it is encompassed of different terrains such as mangroves, rolling hills, and some steep and rugged terrains.
